This is our first classic and heritage bus we have restored, It is a 1968 Ford R226. This bus was a "Party bus' when we got it and these photos record the progress of the restoration. The body was built by Midland Motorways, for Midland Motors
This is how the bus looked when we bought it. We then removed the sticky patterns, and started the painting
On the right is the bus with the undercoat of paint applied
On the left is the painting in process of getting the original paint back on
On the right are the seats which were fitted by Newton Motors
On the left all the seats have been removed, ready for the new High back Luxury seating
On the right the new seats in the process of being fitted
On the left is the ceiling Formica which has been smashed and must be replaced.
